About the Course
This online course consists of three modules (Fall, Winter, Spring) designed to impart the fundamentals and key principles of teaching regulation, movement, and adapted yoga to an individual with special needs, such as Autism, developmental delay or Down Syndrome. It is a supportive, participant-driven program with discussion, knowledge-sharing, and practical applications. Instructor

Andrew Hlavats is a certified Adapted Spiral Praxis instructor, and he has worked with hundreds of children and adults with special needs and disabilities since 2016. He is passionate about the transformative power of bodymind and movement for people of all ages and abilities. He believes strongly in supporting parents and caregivers to help people with disabilities achieve freedom and agency in their bodies.
